5083 aluminum plate sheet is commonly used in marine applications because of its corrosion resistance.It is capable of withstanding extremely low temperatures without brittleness or loss of properties,it is especially suited to the cryogenic market.5083 is also commonly used for LNG ship construction,storage tanks, high strength welded structures,armor plate,drill rigs and pressure vessels and rail cars.Some industries served include oil & gas,military,commercial and recreational marine, chemical plant and industrial containment vessels.
